The Release of iPad
The new personal computer called iPad has been released by the Apple company in April 3rd, 2010. But this is not the first try to combine these important elements together: performance, speed and of course style and space. They wanted to create something as good as a computer but also as fashionable as an iPhone and the improved formula resulted in the newest version of iPad released this year. Why do I say the newest? Well, before the release of this great product, there have been some other attempts to this idea. The first product as similar as the iPad developed this year was the Newton Massage Pad released in 1993 and was the first PDA (personal data assistant). They continued to enhance the PDA until the year 1998 when they stopped because it wasn’t very popular.
Then, they started to put focus on their Personal Computers and desktop products and the iPad remained unfinished and on one point they already stopped improving it. But the game was not over. From the development of the MacBook, iPod, iMac they soon came back to the original idea in 2001: an Apple tablet that could do all the things that a computer could do but to also have a style icon, aesthetics was a major thing for the release of a new line of tablets called iPads. Many names for this products were negotiated but finally the term iPad has won their attention. The term is very familiar among the iPhone or iPod users so it came to an end. They shall call him iPad.
Finally, in 2007, on January the 27th the finished product has been show to the public. The CEO of the Apple company himself presented the product during a conference that the firm was having at that time. After made public, the orders for the iPad started to come abundantly, but so were the releases from the other companies cloning their product. But this didn’t matter. Without any competition the evolution of products would be very slow and not interesting for the genius minds. All in all, this product has changed the market of portable PCs in a way that only committed users can appreciate.
