Sgt. Nelson with the Sheriff’s office caught up with KRON4 on the phone Tuesday night. He’s in shock this kind of senseless violence continues to happen on Bay Area freeways.
“i’m a homegrown guy here. I’ve lived in Alameda County for my whole life. And my family has been living here for 100 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this, and my family hasn’t seen anything like this. It’s just awful it has come to this where people just fire on people on the freeway. I’m just at a loss for words. It’s kind of hitting home today. it’ just an awful awful experience.”
